The Problem

For a company that sells handmade soap with mainly organic ingredients, they wanted a site that would appeal mostly to their main demographic of white women the age of roughly 45 yrs and older, but to other demographics of women as well. They wanted the website to have a more organic feeling by having fewer sharp edges and display their products for sale on the homepage, along with testimonials and contact information.

The Solution

In order to feel more organic, natural, and earth-friendly, I colored this site using the shades of green in the logo provided as well as taking the branches of leaves and making them background textures throughout the site. In order to not have sharp edges on every element, the images are all placed in circles and slightly rounding the edges of all the buttons. The pink color in the logo is used as an accent color on the smaller icons seen in the why us section and contact information.
