The Problem
For this class project, after being assigned an animal listed on the endangered species list, we were required to create a logo that represents the animal, as well as create an illustration that could be turned into an advertisement that would explain about the animal and why they are considered to be an endangered species.
The Solution
I was assigned the African Wild Ass (Donkey) and chose to go with this logo of a donkey within a circle that has a simple blue background. The illustrative advertisement piece shows the donkey in his natural habitat standing next to the body copy with the designed logo in the bottom righthand corner. Multiple reference photos were used for both the logo and illustration in order to get the right position and coloring of the donkey.
